The picture above is a small section of strips after they are sewed together. At this point I was taking 2 strips at a time, sewing them together and pressing them. Then I took them back to the quilt and put them back in the pattern so it doesn't get mixed up. That is very important. Grandma Hart even does it that so she doesn't get confused.
This is the place the section was put back into the quilt. The blue square surrounded by 4 red squares is the center of the quilt. Since I put it together from the center out, that is the way I am sewing it together. I am starting with the center and working my way out to the edge.
